Cox Fleet, a division of Cox Automotive, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on heavy and light trucks in a mobile field setting. You will diagnose, repair, and service components, ensuring vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards.

You will maintain tools and a company vehicle, manage parts and documentation, and work with customers to meet service expectations.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years’ related experience.
• Possess and provide a set of hand tools.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• Follows DOT/FMCSA regulations and passes pre-employment checks.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a Driver Qualification File.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on trucks in field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles to verify proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain company vehicle, completing pre/post-trip checks.
• Document work on RO using iOS device and TRAIT app, with accurate DOT forms.
