Job summary

Cox Fleet, a division of Cox Automotive, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II (DOT) to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and complex repairs for a nationwide mobile fleet. You will lead diagnostics, triage difficult repairs, and document findings using TRAIT.

The role requires 3+ years with refrigerated equipment, a valid driver's license, and compliance with DOT/Federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher with 3 years in related field
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment
• Must supply hand tools
• DOT pre-employment screening and DOT medical card requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and related systems
• Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose malfunctions
• Maintain and manage parts inventory and company service truck
• Complete DOT forms and repair orders accurately and timely
