Job summary

CoxFleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to moderate repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks in a mobile/field setting across our service area.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, manage parts and tools, conduct road tests, document findings via the TRAIT app, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with related field experience
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months
• CDL Class C license required

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on mobile fleet
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Operate test equipment and road test vehicles
• Maintain and stock service truck parts and tools
• Document work in Repair Orders via TRAIT app
