Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light/diagnostic repairs in a mobile environment. You will work remotely within Massachusetts, travel as needed, and maintain service records using a company app.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED plus related experience; ASE T8 (PMI) preferred within 18 months.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet DOT requirements.
• ASE certification within 18 months and ongoing safety compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems; test with hand tools and diagnostic devices.
• Coordinate parts and repair estimates with customers and management; document work in RO via TRAIT app.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs and safety post-service; maintain service truck and safety checks.
• Maintain high productivity while prioritizing tasks and communicating with customers.
