Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light-to-heavy repairs on a mobile fleet. You will work in a field environment, manage parts on a service truck, and document everything via the TRAIT app.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, 3+ years in related fields, ASE T8 or equivalent, and the ability to pass a DOT background and medical screening. Remote options exist for residents in designated regions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3 years in related field.
• DOT/FMCSA and DOT medical card basics.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning, and mechanical systems on trucks.
• Document work performed and keep RO records using company TRAIT app and iOS devices.
