Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a mobile/field basis. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems for light to heavy‑duty trucks and manage parts on a company vehicle.

Role requires tools, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently with safety and quality at the forefront. This is an on‑site, full‑time position with 100% travel to client locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment background check and DOT physical may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections, and repairs on light–heavy‑duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/ Brake/ Cooling systems and other components.
• Maintain and reconcile parts inventory on service truck.
