Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs on light to heavy trucks in a mobile/field role. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems while maintaining documentation via the TRAIT app and company tools.

This role requires a DOT-regulated pre-employment process, valid driver’s license, and the ability to work 100% travel as needed. Weekly pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required with related field experience.
• DOT inspections experience a must with mobile/field repair exposure.
• 3+ years in related diesel/maintenance roles or 5+ years alternative experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on mobile heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose, repair, and test electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Inspect and test on-site equipment and road test vehicles for proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory and document services using company tools and RO system.
• Coordinate with customers and management to estimate repairs and obtain approvals.
