Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network and seeks dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for in-home imaging visits on a per-visit basis. You will travel regionally to patient homes, set up portable ultrasound equipment, obtain informed cooperation, and perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.

This is a per diem, 1099 independent contractor role with travel expenses reimbursed per visit.

Qualifications

• Active registration in both cardiac and vascular imaging is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with willingness to travel locally/regionally.
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.
• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Travel regionally to patient homes to conduct visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participant.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging studies per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Maintain high-quality standards consistent with ASE Standards.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
