Job summary

Hawthorne Health, Inc. is expanding its Home Network and seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to work Per Diem as independent contractors.

You will travel regionally to patient homes to conduct in-home cardiac and vascular imaging visits, with travel expenses reimbursed per visit. Rates are per visit, and the role may involve mileage reimbursement, airfare, hotel accommodations, and other travel costs.

Qualifications

• Active registration in both cardiac and vascular imaging.
• BLS certification is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently in field-based settings.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes regionally to perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Ensure image quality and proper labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary reports with measurements and comments.
• Follow ASE standards and protocol guidelines.
