Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network and seeks dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to perform in-home echocardiograms and vascular imaging on a per-visit basis. You will travel regionally to patient homes and set up portable ultrasound equipment.

This is a per diem, 1099 contractor role with travel reimbursements for mileage, airfare, and hotel. You will work independently in non-traditional settings, maintaining ASE-compliant imaging quality and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac and vascular imaging (RDCS and RVT or equivalent).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel regionally.
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet; tech-savvy with digital tools.
• Ability to work independently in field-based settings.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.

Responsabilités

• Travel locally or regionally to patient homes for in-home imaging visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol imaging guidelines and label images accurately.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Maintain ASE-compliant imaging quality and troubleshoot equipment.
