Job summary

Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network and seeks dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to work per diem as independent contractors. You will travel regionally to patient homes to perform in-home cardiac and vascular imaging, with pay per visit and travel reimbursement.

Responsibilities include setting up portable ultrasound equipment, obtaining consent, performing echocardiograms and vascular studies per protocol, ensuring patient comfort, labeling images for review, and

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac and vascular imaging (RDCS/RCS + RVT/RVS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet.
• Ability to work independently in field settings.

Responsibilities

• Travel regionally to patient homes for imaging visits.
• Set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participant.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Label images and draft preliminary reports for review.
