Job summary

Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network and seeks dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to perform in-home imaging visits across the region on a per-visit basis. Compensation includes travel reimbursements such as mileage, airfare, and hotel accommodations.

Responsibilities include setting up portable ultrasound equipment, obtaining informed cooperation, performing echocardiograms, and ensuring high-quality image acquisition per protocol.

Qualifications

• Active registration in both cardiac and vascular imaging.
• 3+ years of recent sonography experience in cardiac and vascular imaging.
• BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel locally/regionally.

Responsibilities

• Travel locally or regionally to patient homes to conduct visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participant.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging studies per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Maintain high-quality standards consistent with ASE Standards.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
