Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Building Engineer to support a premier logistics client. You will travel between facilities to ensure critical building systems operate safely and efficiently, with a Monday–Friday day shift and on-call rotation.

You will apply hands-on technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, life-safety, and control systems, resolving issues quickly while upholding CBRE's safety and quality standards across multiple sites.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience.
Universal CFC certification and valid driver's license required.
Experience in supervision or management preferred.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance of mechanical and life-safety systems across multiple facilities.
Review work orders, estimate time/materials, and manage supplies.
Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life.
Inspect building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for design compliance.
Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
Operate company vehicles to support daily tasks.
Share knowledge and coach team; align with CBRE values.
Collaborate with teams across sites to resolve issues.
