Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.

You will oversee mechanical, plumbing, life safety, and control systems and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards. Responsibilities include reviewing work orders, estimating time/materials, implementing preventive maintenance, and coaching others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver's license required.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility.
• Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed to complete repairs, and maintain inventory.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure building machinery meets or exceeds its rated life.
• Review inspections of building and industrial systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Oversee compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company-issued vehicles in daily work responsibilities.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles to complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines.
• Lead by example consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information.
