Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to keep facilities running smoothly across HVAC, building systems, and equipment. You’ll be on the front lines, performing hands‑on maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.

You will review work orders, estimate resources, and coach others while complying with all safety and regulatory standards. This on-site role includes driving company vehicles and contributing to CBRE’s RISE values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 4–5 years of experience; Universal CFC certification and valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of maintenance work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset are essential for problem solving.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred for leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of mechanical, plumbing, life-safety, and control systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time/materials for repairs; manage inventory.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and handle emergency maintenance as needed.
• Inspect building systems to ensure operation and environmental conditions meet client specs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles for daily duties and mobilize as required.
• Share knowledge and mentor others; lead by example within CBRE RISE values.
• Support cross-team coordination of customer, operational, and project activities.
• Explain complex information clearly and build consensus when needed.
