Job summary

Dayton MMA is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive growth of private coaching and combat sports programs while delivering a premium member experience. You will lead the transition from general membership to results-driven training by selling private/small group sessions, managing the Turn-Over process, and hitting revenue targets for combat training and supplements.

In this role you will supervise coaches, coordinate member services, and ensure policy compliance across daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in fitness sales, hospitality, or retail management.
• Experience in employee relations or staff supervision preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Must possess at least one nationally recognized fitness certification.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED; a 4-year degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of monthly revenue goals for Private Training, Small Group Training, and Supplements.
• Lead fitness tours, prospect members (in-person/digital), present training options, and convert introductory packages into full, long-term programs.
• Master the Turn-Over: ensure a seamless hand-off from the front-desk sales team to the specialized coaching staff.
• Pipeline Management: build a dedicated client base through consistent outreach and manage supplement booths or seminars.
• Coach the Coaches: work with Regional MMA Manager to lead meetings and supervise coaches to meet targets.
• Scheduling and client lifecycle management: oversee appointments, staff schedules, and time-keeping.
