Job summary

Axon is seeking an embedded role owner to drive agency outcomes using our platform. You will own deployments, adoption, and success across the lifecycle, combining technical build skills with operational leadership across multiple environments.

Expect 3–4 onsite days per week, direct collaboration with agency leadership, and a strong emphasis on mission-driven results. CJIS compliance and security are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles or comparable deployment experience.
• Ability to operate across hardware, software, cloud and AI-enabled technologies.
• Strong communication with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
• Ownership mentality in ambiguous environments; manage multiple organizations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Discover agency problems onsite and translate into buildable, compliant solutions tied to mission outcomes
• Design and ship tools on Axon's platform: AI agents, workflows, automations, integrations, and data pipelines
• Configure, integrate, and extend DEMS, Fusus, AI Era, Records in the agency environment
• Iterate in the field until adoption sticks, then document patterns for reuse across accounts
• Apply responsible innovation guardrails — CJIS, privacy — in every build
• Troubleshoot onsite and coordinate root-cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services
