Job summary

Axon is hiring a Mission Engineer II to work onsite with public safety agencies, turning operational challenges into technical solutions using Axon tools, AI, and automation. You’ll embed with agencies, understand operations, and translate needs into concrete technical requirements.

You’ll collaborate across teams, lead deployments, and build lasting value while ensuring alignment with agency priorities and Axon’s ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Typically 3–5+ years of experience in solutions engineering or similar hands-on technical roles.
• Foundational software engineering capabilities and ability to build technical solutions.
• Familiarity with APIs, scripting, data, testing, debugging, and modern development practices.

Responsibilities

• Embed with agencies to understand mission, workflows, and priorities.
• Translate customer problems into clear technical requirements and success criteria.
• Build applications, dashboards, workflows, and automations using Axon tools.
• Drive adoption, measure results, and iterate to create sustained value.
• Maintain onsite presence and coordinate across Product, Engineering, Support, and Sales.
