Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Telesales Specialist, RSG in Pittsburgh to drive B2C registrations for community training classes and store products. You will handle inbound inquiries, act as a trusted consultant, and guide customers to the right course or product with a focus on customer needs.

This role offers an hourly wage with commissions; you will document interactions in Salesforce and process orders while achieving revenue targets for training and retail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher education a plus.
• Minimum 1 year sales experience in a call center.
• Ability to multi-task across multi-system platforms.
• Strong influence and negotiation skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls for training and store product inquiries.
• Act as consultant to uncover customer training and Red Cross retail product needs.
• Recommend and sell Red Cross training classes and store products based on customer needs.
• Handle credit card transactions and place orders through Sales systems.
• Accurately document and update all cases in Salesforce.
• Upsell Red Cross Store products that complement class enrollment.
