Job summary

The American Red Cross in Houston is seeking a Telesales Specialist, RSG to sell Red Cross community training classes and Store products to individuals and small businesses. You will use highly specialized sales skills to understand customer needs and match the most appropriate course and product.

This role offers an hourly wage of $16.15/hr with commission-based incentives. You will document calls in Salesforce, handle transactions, and work toward annual revenue targets of $325K for training

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; higher education is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year sales experience in a Call Center.
• Ability to multi-task across multi-system platforms.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls for customers interested in Red Cross training courses or Store products.
• Act as consultant to uncover customer training and Store product needs.
• Recommend and sell Red Cross training classes and Store products based on customer needs.
• Handle credit card transactions and place orders through Sales systems.
• Accurately document and update all cases in Salesforce.
• Upsell Store products that complement class enrollment.
• Handle returns, exchanges or cancellations per policy.
• Answer customer questions and address concerns about classes or products.
• Responsible for attaining Training revenue of $325K per year and Retail revenue of $80K per year.
