Job summary

Eaton is hiring for a Mission Critical SWBD Assembler - B Crew in Sumter, SC. Schedule is Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm-1:00am with a $16.00 hourly rate. You will read drawings/diagrams to assemble switchboards, using hand and power tools while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Team collaboration and continuous improvement are emphasized. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to work within a 50‑mile radius of Sumter, and willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Sumter, SC.
• Experience with drawings/diagrams or complex assemblies preferred.
• Lean manufacturing environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchboards/panelboards from drawings and BOMs.
• Use hand and power tools to install components.
• Follow procedures to ensure safety, quality and productivity.
• Inspect parts for defects and identify nonconforming items.
• Cross-train and support teammates as needed.
