Job summary

Eaton is hiring a SWBD - Production Associate for the Sumter, SC facility. You will assemble switchboards from drawings, using hand and power tools, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.

The role requires reading blueprints and BOMs, attention to detail, and a collaborative team approach. Strong problem-solving and basic computer skills are expected, with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Experience reading drawings/diagrams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchboards/panelboards using drawings/diagrams and blueprints.
• Use hand and power tools to install components to specification.
• Follow safety, 5S practices and quality goals while working.
• Identify missing components and communicate issues or delays promptly.
• Inspect work for quality; assist with root-cause analysis as needed.
