Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Mission Critical Switchboard Assembler (Closeout) in Sumter, SC. The role operates Monday–Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with an hourly rate of $16.00. You will assemble switchboards/panelboards using drawings and blueprints and work with a team to hit safety, quality, and productivity goals.

The job requires reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and ensuring material quality through inspections and problem solving. Lean practices and 5S may be part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Experience with measuring devices and reading blueprints is preferred.
• Experience in assembly using drawings or diagrams is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchboards/panelboards from drawings and blueprints.
• Use hand and power tools to install components accurately.
• Inspect materials for quality and identify nonconforming parts.
• Communicate with team to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
