Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division seeks a SWBD - Production Associate - Closeout in Sumter, SC. The role runs Monday–Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with an hourly rate of $16.64. Candidates must work in the United States and reside within 50 miles of Sumter.

As an assembler, you will select and install components using hand and power tools, following drawings and blueprints to build switchboards. You will collaborate with teammates to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals while upholding Lean

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation; reside within 50 miles of Sumter facility.

Responsibilities

• Select and install components using hand and power tools.
• Use drawings/diagrams/blueprints to assemble switchboards.
• Communicate with teammates to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Identify missing components and maintain production flow.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and root-cause analysis.
• Perform quality inspections before and after assembly and troubleshoot errors.
• Cross-train and stand in for other roles when needed.
