HED is seeking a Mechanical Designer to advance design documentation, perform calculations, and coordinate across disciplines within a hybrid work model. The role emphasizes developing project understanding and taking ownership of portions of design packages with guidance from engineers.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering background, Revit proficiency, and strong communication skills, with the ability to contribute across HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in the AEC industry preferred.
• Revit experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
• Ability to work well with others under deadline situations.

Responsabilidades

• Produce the mechanical sheet list for projects and set up in Revit.
• Participate in the BIM Project Execution Plan.
• Support mechanical submittal reviews and develop mechanical RFI responses with supervision.
• Collaborate with project engineers across disciplines and coordinate with affected teams.
• Model HVAC, plumbing, and/or fire protection components in Revit per code and client requirements.
• Produce redline markups to delegate tasks to team members.
• Attend client and project team meetings to review mechanical requirements and coordinate items.
• Engage in QAQC per HED’s Design Process.
