Job summary

HED is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our Mechanical Engineering team in a hybrid work model. You will develop design documentation, perform calculations, and coordinate across disciplines with guidance from project engineers.

The role focuses on expanding technical capabilities, owning portions of design packages, and contributing to project execution while leveraging Revit for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in the AEC industry.
• Revit experience required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce the mechanical sheet list for projects and set up in Revit.
• Collaborate with project engineers across disciplines on mechanical components.
• Participate in BIM Project Execution Plan and coordination meetings.
• Edit specifications and support design development with guidance from engineers.
