Placements24 is seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead mining sector recruitment initiatives in Upington. The role blends office collaboration with remote work, leveraging your network to attract top talent and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.

You will manage the full lifecycle from client brief to placement, with a focus on KPI achievement and mentorship of junior consultants. A strong mining network and recruitment software proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success as a Recruitment Consultant.
• Experience in mining, resources, or engineering sectors is preferred.
• Strong candidate sourcing and interviewing techniques.
• Excellent business development and client management skills.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a Hybrid work model.
• Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates for mining and resources roles.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and understand their hiring needs.
• Manage full recruitment lifecycle from brief to offer and placement.
• Utilize sourcing channels, including networks, databases, and events, to find passive candidates.
• Conduct market research on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and talent availability.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop recruitment strategies and employer branding.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly placement targets.
• Mentor junior recruitment consultants.
