Placements24 is actively seeking a Specialist Recruiter focused on the mining sector, based remotely with a strong link to Upington and the Northern Cape mining landscape. You will manage end-to-end recruitment, sourcing niche talent and delivering for clients in the mining industry.

The role requires at least 3 years in mining recruitment, excellent sourcing abilities, and autonomous work ethics. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruitment experience in mining/resources sectors.
• Proven sourcing and placement track record in demanding roles.
• Knowledge of mining processes, equipment, and safety considerations.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates for mining roles (geologists, mining engineers, operators, safety staff).
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships within the mining and resources sector.
• Understand client needs, technical requirements, and company culture for effective placements.
