Placements24 is seeking a proactive Recruitment Resourcer to join its mining and engineering recruitment division. The role focuses on identifying and engaging potential candidates, building a strong talent pool, and supporting senior consultants from a remote setup.

The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment or resourcing, strong sourcing skills, and an interest in mining/engineering. Remote work flexibility is offered, with opportunities to contribute to Welkom region and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or resourcing is advantageous.
• Familiar with sourcing techniques and online recruitment platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with candidates.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Keen interest in mining and engineering industries is a plus.
• Comfortable using digital collaboration tools and maintaining productivity remotely.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates for mining and engineering roles using job boards, social media, networks and databases.
• Conduct initial screening calls to assess suitability and availability.
• Build and maintain a robust talent pool in mining and engineering sectors.
• Collaborate with consultants to understand hiring needs and provide candidates.
• Manage candidate communications to ensure a positive experience in early stages.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS.
• Assist in scheduling interviews and coordinating logistics between candidates and clients.
• Research industry trends and talent market insights to support sourcing strategies.
