Placements24 seeks a highly proficient Recruitment Specialist focused on Mining and Engineering to join our client in Welkom, Free State. You will manage the full recruitment cycle, sourcing specialists from operators to senior managers across mining and engineering entities.

Ideal candidates will have deep industry knowledge, strong networking and client-relationship skills, and experience with ATS platforms. The role offers exposure to diverse projects and a dynamic consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Proven recruitment experience in Mining and/or Engineering sectors.
• Understanding of roles, skills and qualifications in these industries.
• Excellent sourcing and networking within specialized talent pools.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with ATS and recruitment databases.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• HR or Engineering-related degree is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle for mining and engineering roles.
• Develop sourcing strategies to attract engineers, geologists, and managers.
• Assess candidates for technical qualifications and experience.
