Job summary

EnviroVantage, Inc. is seeking personnel to support demolition and construction on job sites nationwide. The role requires coordination with team members, adherence to OSHA and EPA regulations, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Torch cutting, rigging experience, and tool handling are valued, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Minimum 2 years of construction experience is required; OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40 are mandatory or obtainable within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years construction experience required.
• OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40 required or willing to obtain within 30 days.
• Experience with construction hand tools required.
• Torch cutting and rigging experience preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED, or vocational schooling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate actions with other workers on busy construction sites.
• Complete work projects on time with regular attendance.
• Work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, rain, and pollution.
• Wear required PPE and participate in OSHA medical surveillance as needed.
• Lift construction debris up to 50 lbs and maneuver on stairs/ladders.

Essential Functions

• Work on site supporting different tasks for demolition and construction projects
• Torch cutting different types of material
• Rigging experience helpful
• Ability to adhere to all OSHA; EPA; as well as other federal agency state and company hazardous materials laws and policies.
• Be a strong team leader/player with a positive attitude who is hard working and motivated every day

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years construction experience required
• OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40 required. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with construction hand tools required

• Coordination: Ability to coordinate your actions with those of other workers on busy construction sites.
• Attendance: Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner; regular and prompt attendance are an essential job function.
• Working Conditions: Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, rain, pollution and toxic atmospheres.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator, and participate in OSHA-required medical surveillance programs as necessary.
• Lifting: Ability to pick up construction debris and able to lift 50 lbs. regularly.
• Climbing: Ability to climb temporary or permanent stairs and ladders, and regularly required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Compensation

• Compensation Range: $32.00 - $35.00/hour
• Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.
