A leading Environmental Remediation Contractor is seeking someone for heavy equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience with construction machinery, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to safety. This role includes troubleshooting, maintenance, and safety inspections, with compensation ranging from $32.00 to $36.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience. This position offers health insurance and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean 5-year driving record and a valid Driver’s License.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Experience with hydraulics, electric systems, and diesel engines.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures quickly and accurately.
• Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance.
• Maintain detailed service and repair records.
• Respond to field service calls to minimize downtime.
• Communicate repair needs with the Director of Facilities.

Servicing projects Nationwide, and across the Caribbean, EnviroVantage is recognized as a trusted authority for all Government, Commercial & Industrial projects involving proper Hazardous materials handling and Demolition.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment with precision and expertise.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine repair solutions quickly and accurately.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment complies with company and regulatory standards.
• Maintain detailed service and repair records.
• Respond to field service calls as needed to minimize equipment downtime.
• Communicate repair needs and timelines with Director of Facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with construction or heavy machinery, including hydraulics, electric systems, and diesel engines.
• Ability to assess, question, evaluate, and report on equipment performance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Driver’s License and clean 5-year driving record.
• OSHA 10.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 75 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment.

Compensation

• Compensation Range: $32.00 - $36.00/hour.
• Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.
