Carter Lumber in Indiana is seeking an Outside Sales Rep to grow millwork product sales with builders and subcontractors. You will manage relationships, visit job sites, and present product lines with a focus on millwork.

The role requires at least 2 years selling millwork, ability to read blueprints, take-offs, and strong customer service. You will track orders, manage schedules, and help customers select interior trim, doors, and hardware.

Qualifications

• 2+ years selling millwork products including interior trim, interior doors, and interior hardware.
• Read blueprints and perform take-offs.
• Visit job sites to measure doors and trim.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Decision making and problem solving abilities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with customers and subcontractors to determine needs and provide services.
• Attain and maintain sales of all products, focusing on interior and millwork products.
• Gives presentations to builders and provides expert advice on product features and benefits.
• Do take offs and prepare estimates for these products and ensure they are ordered and shipped on time.
