Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking an Outside Sales Rep in Indiana to grow millwork sales with builders and subcontractors. You will manage client relationships, visit job sites, and provide product expertise on interior trim, doors, and hardware while coordinating take-offs and estimates to secure timely orders.

This full-time role rewards a practical, people-oriented salesperson with a proven ability to drive profitability and expand market share through strong communication, reporting, and on-site

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years selling millwork products including interior trim, interior doors, and interior hardware.
• Ability to read blueprints and do take-offs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops relationships with customers and subcontractors to determine their needs and provide beneficial services to them.
• Responsible for attaining and maintaining the sales of all products, focused on interior and millwork products.
• Gives presentations to builders and provides expert advice on product features and benefits.
• Do take offs and prepare estimates for these products and ensure they are ordered and shipped accurately and on time.
