Job summary

Carter Lumber Company is seeking an Outside Sales Rep to grow millwork sales with builders and subcontractors across residential and commercial projects. You will manage relationships, provide product expertise, and help customers select interior trim and doors.

You will visit job sites for measurements, prepare estimates, and ensure timely order fulfillment while maintaining strong customer service and profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years selling Millwork products including interior trim and interior doors.
• Ability to read blueprints and do take-offs.
• Ability to visit job sites to measure doors and trim.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with customers and subcontractors to determine needs and provide services.
• Attain and maintain sales of all products focused on interior and millwork products.
• Give presentations to builders and provide expert product advice.
• Do take-offs and prepare estimates to ensure orders are accurate and timely.
