Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking an Outside Sales Rep to grow millwork product sales with builders and subcontractors, managing projects from sale through delivery and follow-up. You will visit job sites, measure when needed, and advise on interior millwork options.

The role emphasizes relationship development, accurate take-offs, and maintaining schedules to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years selling millwork products incl. interior trim and doors.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform take-offs.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with customers and subcontractors to assess needs.
• Attain and maintain sales of millwork products and related services.
• Gve presentations to builders and advise on features and benefits.
• Prepare estimates and coordinate orders for on-time delivery.
