Job summary

The Woodlands-based AbbVie Specialty Representative – Migraine is a field-based role serving The Woodlands, TX with remote capabilities. You will execute brand strategy, build customer relationships, and drive sales performance while placing patient outcomes at the center of activities.

You will manage territory, meet KPIs, handle objections, and collaborate with district and matrix teams across healthcare providers. A pharma background and HCIR readiness are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
• 5+ years of experience with 3+ years in pharma/health/science industry preferred and a high school diploma/GED required.
• Demonstrates deep scientific, therapeutic, product and competitive knowledge; strong business acumen.
• Adapts selling approach to customer style and behavior; leverages findings for strategy.
• Proven sales success with strong presentation skills; works effectively in a matrix environment.
• Influences others and collaborates with district colleagues and matrix teams.
• Leads by example with leadership roles at district/region levels.
• Preferred: sales in therapeutic areas; English proficiency; HCIR credentialing and driving license.
• HCIR credentials may include background checks, immunizations and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance and meet KPIs to maximize revenue.
• Create pre-call plans and evaluate calls to improve performance.
• Build trusted customer relationships and achieve win-win deals.
• Develop and execute a call plan to maximize coverage of key customers.
• Share market intelligence to align brand strategy and execution.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value to health providers and engage disease state experts.
