Job summary

Leidos LLC is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site at China Lake. The role involves direct desk-side support, troubleshooting, and repairing IT devices.

The employee must be able to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and travel to locations as needed. Primary responsibilities include assisting junior technicians, managing tickets per SLRs, and backing up the Site Operations Lead.

Qualifications

• US Citizen required.
• DoD Secret Clearance required.
• HS diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience; other related education/certs may substitute.
• Valid DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher certification.
• Must demonstrate expertise in IT Enterprise Operations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist junior technicians in resolving complex issues.
• Manage the resolution of customer tickets according to established SLRs.
• Serve as backup to the Site Operations Lead.
