Job summary

Leidos in Dahlgren, VA is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to provide direct desk-side support to a government customer, troubleshooting and repairing IT devices at a Navy SMIT site.

The position requires US citizenship, DoD Secret clearance, a high school diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience, and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification. You will resolve tickets, support printers and PCs, and coordinate with the Field Services team.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen and DoD Secret Clearance required.
• HS diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher.
• Experience with Windows OS (Windows 10).
• Experience with Service Desk ticketing systems (Remedy, HP Service Manager).

Responsibilities

• Manage the resolution of customer tickets according to SLRs.
• Properly troubleshoot and resolve user computer issues (hardware & software).
• Ensure tasks are completed within the specified timelines.
• Troubleshoot local and networked printers and other hardware components.
• Assist other technicians in resolving complex issues.
