Job summary

Leidos seeks a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site in Norfolk, VA. You will provide direct desk-side support, troubleshoot IT devices, and ensure tickets meet SLAs on a busy government site.

The role requires lifting duties, working in data centers, and travel to project locations. A US citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance are mandatory, along with Security+ or higher and Windows 10 experience.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 4+ years of prior relevant experience or related education/certifications considered in lieu of experience.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, version 10.
• Experience with HP Service Manager, Remedy, or similar Service/Help Desk ticket management software.
• Basic network troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage resolution of customer tickets according to established SLRs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user computer issues (hardware and software).
• Ensure tasks are completed within defined timelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve local and networked devices (printers, MFDs).
• Assist other technicians with complex issues.
