Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site at Point Loma. You will provide direct desk-side IT support, troubleshoot hardware and software, and assist VIP and executive users. The role requires US citizenship and a DoD Secret clearance, with a 4+ year experience base and a Security+ (or higher) certification.

Overtime and weekend shifts may be required. The position is site-based at a government facility, with 50 lb lifting, confined spaces, and travel

Qualifications

• US Citizen required.
• DoD Secret Clearance required.
• HS diploma with 4+ years of prior relevant experience or additional related education/certifications.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Security+ or higher certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage resolution of customer tickets per SLRs.
• Provide premier computer and network support to VIP and executive customers.
• Ensure proper ticket handling and timely updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on user devices.
• Support 24/7 operation and participate in overtime/12‑hour shifts as needed.
• Troubleshoot local and networked printers and devices; assist other technicians.
