Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site at Point Loma as one of the key members of the Field Services team. The candidate will be responsible for direct desk-side support to the customer, troubleshooting and repairing IT devices.

The work location for this position will be at a government site and will require the ability to lift, climb, and operate in confined spaces, with 8-hour shifts. Overtime and weekend hours may occur.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with DoD Secret Clearance.
• HS diploma with 4+ years relevant experience; higher education or certifications may substitute.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher certification required.
• Experience in IT Enterprise Operations and customer service is essential.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide desk-side IT support to government personnel.
• Ensure adherence to SLRs across distributed site locations.
• Escalate critical security events and perform IA incident response.
• Coach technicians and maintain HPSM documentation.
• Manage site data access and execute data calls as required.
• Support VIP and executive-level customers and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
