Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site at Point Loma as part of the Field Services team. You will deliver direct desk-side IT support, troubleshoot and repair IT devices, and ensure SLA compliance across locations.

The role requires US citizenship, DoD Secret Clearance, and DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher certification. You will operate in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment with VIP access and data security requirements.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and DoD Secret Clearance required.
• HS diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher certification.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as backup to the Site Operations Lead.
• Oversee compliance across multiple distributed site locations.
• Audit HPSM ticket queues and direct technicians to mitigate SLA risks.
• Primary escalation point for critical security events and IA incidents.
• Provide coaching and documentation training to technicians.
