Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support Microsoft environments in a fast-paced enterprise setting from Salt Lake City, UT. The role focuses on troubleshooting hardware, software, identity management, and cloud technologies with hands-on work on Microsoft 365, AD/Entra ID, Azure, Intune, and Autopilot.

You will provide Level 1–2 support for Windows laptops, desktops, and mobile devices, manage AD and M365, and deploy devices via Intune/Autopilot.

Qualifications

2+ years of desktop support, help desk, or IT support experience.
Hands-on troubleshooting in a Microsoft enterprise environment.
Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and end-user support.
Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD) and Azure services.
Experience managing devices through Intune and Windows Autopilot.
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
Strong Windows 10/11 knowledge.
Excellent communication, documentation and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support for Windows laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and connectivity issues.
Support and administer Active Directory, including user accounts and permissions.
Manage Microsoft 365 environments including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint.
Utilize Entra ID for identity and access management.
Assist with Azure administration and cloud resources.
Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint devices using Intune and Autopilot.
Create and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
Use PowerShell to automate routine tasks.
Handle workstation deployments, imaging, lifecycle management.
Document issues and solutions in the ticketing system.
Collaborate with infra & security teams for compliance and performance.
Provide excellent customer service while managing multiple requests.
