Job summary

Sysco Louisville, Inc. is seeking an Operations position specialist to assist in maintenance of material handling equipment and industrial batteries. You will support a skilled MHE technician, perform preventive maintenance including PM checks, and help troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems.

Strong safety adherence and ability to work with batteries are essential. Qualified candidates will have at least four years in MHE maintenance, a valid driver’s license and required certifications

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; tech school or equivalent preferred (2 years).
• Four years in a material handling equipment (MHE) maintenance role or equivalent experience.
• Valid state driver’s license; defensive driving program; Sysco certification within 3 months; MHE certification from manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Assist MHE technician III with maintenance on material handling equipment and industrial batteries.
• Perform preventive maintenance on MHE fleet, check oil, belts, chains, and electrical components.
• Repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical subsystems; assist in battery servicing and charger repairs.
• Document time and materials in CMMS daily; maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Adhere to safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company policies; respond to emergencies as needed.
