Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is a global consulting firm with a hands‑on approach to solving client problems. We are seeking a Manager, Merger Integration & Carve‑outs in the Education sector to lead integration efforts for PE clients across the deal lifecycle.

The role focuses on strategic and operational improvements, with opportunities for career growth, exposure to large‑scale transactions, and frequent collaboration with senior client teams.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of professional experience in corporate and/or consulting, with merger integration, business transformation, or change management.
• Exposure to for‑profit education sector is a plus.
• MBA preferred and ability to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Provide service excellence by identifying client issues and developing actionable recommendations.
• Lead workstreams or focus areas within Integration Management Office (IMO) — e.g., Synergies, TSAs, Day 1 readiness, and more.
• Drive performance improvements in strategic planning, operations, back office consolidation, supply chain, IT, and sales/marketing.
