Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Manager in Merger Integration & Carve-Outs focused on the Education sector across the U.S. PEPI practice. You will lead integration workstreams, apply a structured approach to value creation, and collaborate with private equity clients on complex deals.

The role requires 5–8+ years in merger integration or transformation, with MBA preferred, and travel up to 80%. You will develop Day 1 readiness plans, support synergy realization, and help clients navigate

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in merger integration, business transformation or change management.
• Experience in education sector is a plus.
• MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams or segments within the Integration Management Office (IMO).
• Deliver Day 1 readiness and post‑deal integration plans.
• Drive performance improvement across strategic areas like operations, finance, HR, and IT.
• Track progress against Day 1/Day 100 objectives and adjust strategies as needed.
