U.S. Bank, through Elavon, seeks an experienced outside Sales Account Executive to expand merchant services in Los Angeles and Orange County. The role emphasizes field-based client engagement, building partnerships with banking teams, and driving new business with small and mid-sized businesses.

The ideal candidate thrives in a relationship-driven sales environment, travels 3–4 days per week, and leverages Salesforce to manage opportunities and pipeline growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3 years of relevant sales experience.
• Ability to travel 3–4 days per week; overnight travel rarely required.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with BMO business banking partners, resulting in consistent referral production.
• Develop a strong presence within the market through regular in-person meetings with bank partners, prospects, and clients.
• Utilize Salesforce daily to manage opportunities, activities, and pipeline growth.
• Prospect for and develop profitable new business relationships by selling merchant payment processing solutions to small and medium-sized businesses.
• Identify opportunities based on local market conditions, client needs, products, and services.
• Present customized payment solutions to prospective clients to support growth and operational goals.
• Implement and maintain a referral network and call program to maximize sales opportunities.
• Receive guidance and training in a remote environment while managing an active field-based schedule.
• Travel extensively throughout the Bay Area market to meet with referral partners and business owners.
