Job summary

U.S. Bank, through its Elavon Merchant Payment Services division, seeks a Regional Account Executive to drive new merchant acquisitions and strategic partnerships.

The role blends outside sales with referral-based opportunities, requiring field engagement and a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to build a robust book of business. You will cultivate relationships with FI referral partners and merchants across diverse verticals, delivering tailored payment solutions while meeting growth targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two to three years of relevant sales experience.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a true hunter, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities daily.
• Generate 50%+ of your sales pipeline through self-sourced prospecting and referrals.
• Spend the majority of your time in the field meeting with partners and decision makers.
• Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on new merchant relationships.
