Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers for the MEPS study. Field Interviewers conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults, travel to in-person training in January 2027, and may travel to households locally or overnight.

Part-time, non-exempt position with two data collection periods. Hours vary, typically evenings and weekends, with data transmitted daily and background checks as required.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older with the ability to enter binding confidentiality agreements to protect project information.
• Be available to complete mandatory web-based training and in-person training in January 2027.
• Be willing to travel locally and occasionally overnight for data collection.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adult household members.
• Contact households, set appointments, and gain cooperation for interviews.
• Transmit electronic data daily and complete required paperwork.
